Review on Comprehensive Guide: Doctor Developed Occupational Health & Safety Products for Personal Protective Equipment by Chris Cruz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can knit with thick yarn and big needles again!

I have a ganglion (biblical lump) that I usually forget. However, when I crochet in thick blanket yarn with a large hook, I have serious problems with pain as it causes my carpal tunnel to bulge. I really had to make a few gifts with this yarn and crochet combo and this time it was the worst: for 2 days after I started the gifts I was in constant pain and even when I finished my project the pain stopped getting worse. I read a lot of reviews on here and finally decided on these braces just hoping for some relief. This far exceeded my expectations! I received the corset on Friday, wore it in the evening and overnight. On Saturday I woke up with no pain. I put the bandage on during the day, took it off for crocheting and put it back on at night. Sunday: No pain and I was able to crochet in the evenings without pain and during the day without a corset. I don't think I'll need to sleep in it tonight and can use it as needed from now on. A lot of reviews said it was snug on the finger and I understand how this can be an issue for people. It sits lower than other braces, but I'm also used to wearing a unisex size that really doesn't fit my hand. It took me an evening to get used to this feeling. My ring finger is 6 and my wrist is 6 inches and I don't find the thumb hole comfortable - in case it helps others.
