I personally don't use it much because of the outstretched hand that brings the monitor closer to me. I only use it for height and can move it up and down when using my desktop. It doesn't seem too strong to me when I stretch out my hand. Don't get me wrong, the whole setup is solid. But the clip that holds it to the table (mine is 1 inch thick) doesn't convince me it will last long if I pull my arm all the way out. I screwed the clamp in as far as it would go, but there's still a slight wobble when you pull the lever. However, that doesn't bother me now because my monitor is close to the bar.
