Bought this hair dryer because of the diffuser. I wanted something that looked like a bowl in hopes it would help define my curls better. It definitely does and helps me add volume. My drying/diffusion time is also shorter. It only takes me about 10-15 minutes to fully dry my hair - but my hair is short and very thin and with my old Conair blow dryer it took longer and there were still wet sections of hair.
