Shampoo is not a genuine item. I have used an authentic product in the past, including a sample given to me by my stylist. With the original product, I liked the feeling when washing my hair and I also liked the smell. With this product, it felt like a toned down version of the original. It didn't lather, I could only detect a slight odor when I held the product right up to my nose. My hair was dry and broke easily and that could be why my stylist found residue in my hair. Stay away!
