Works well but not too enthusiastic about its durability.

I'm clearing my driveway on an ATV with a 60 inch shield. My driveway is 900 feet long and the incline is 35 degrees (steep). The access road consists of a mixture of earth, gravel and rubble. I use diamond chains on my quad for extra traction and I like the wider plow because at an angle it doesn't interfere with the front wheels. This winter (2012-2013) I continued to use it with the thickening, but it made a lot more noise and was rougher all over the car. They're relatively easy to replace, but they don't come with lock washers or lock nuts, and I highly recommend that you add lock washers to these legs or they'll come loose. Added lock washers. Lock nuts would be nice too. Tried to find other brands of plows to try. Bottom line: if you have a dirt/gravel road, buy a couple of extra feet to have on hand in case you wear out or break one. They hold the more expensive cutting edge of the plow just enough above the gravel not to wear it out too much. The height of the legs can be easily adjusted with a pair of wrenches. ATV, but since then he's readily convinced he made the right choice. My ATV is also a great farm vehicle and I use it a lot. I highly recommend that you have an extra set of these legs on hand. They will wear out and you will need to replace them from time to time! These legs are a lot cheaper than a new plow or your plow blade!
