These are great if you need to use a wall outlet at your desk or other situations where the power plug gets jammed. In fact, having an AC plug at such a narrow angle as directly behind a bed or dresser is dangerous. They take care of it and seem a lot safer. Every application where I need a right angle now gets one of these. It's cheaper than swapping out all of my surge protectors and easier than swapping out plugs on all of them.
