The bow at the back should be attached to the dress.
This dress is so cute, I can see why there is a bobby pin on the bow at the back. Because the dress falls off the shoulders, you can use it to adjust the dress yourself. However, having toddlers, I didn't know that I wanted to risk it opening on them because they move a lot so eventually the pin will open and bite them. I had to ask my grandmother to sew. Also, this dress doesn't go with panties like most other dresses.
