I love this product so much! I was looking for safer drink options for my 13 month old after reading an article about the potential health risks associated with plastic and some plastic substitutes. I looked at various options, but none of them looked as cute or contained toxins as Elk and Friends products. My main goal was for the vessel that holds her water to be either stainless steel or glass. The lid is plastic, but that suits me. I hesitated between glass and stainless steel. I ended up getting a stainless steel one. The wrappers and lids are perfect for an 8 ounce jar of jelly so I was able to try that too. When I opened the box I was immediately impressed and obsessed! Great quality and very cute! My daughter often drops (throws) her drinks and we have hardwood floors. My husband was concerned that even if they had sleeves on they would still dent our floors but that hasn't happened yet and I don't think it will! They also really help her keep herself in check. The only downside for us is that if it is dropped or tipped over, water will spill out of the straw. Not a big deal, just needs an extra cleaning. I plan to order a set of jars and a couple of large ones to use alone! I highly recommend this product and company! You will not be disappointed!
