My 6 year old son has tried dozens of beyblades and launchers over the past year. This set stands out from the crowd with the higher quality and fit of both the blades and launchers. The blades have sophisticated locking mechanisms that I have never seen on other blades. The locking mechanism prevents the blade from frequently breaking in "battles". only for them to actually explode spectacularly once the gears have been rendered inoperative. My son loves them very much! This is the first time we have purchased a full box (no individual blades or launchers) and my son loves this form factor too. Now he takes the box to the parks and has made friends with it - the children are interested in skates and willingly take part in fights with him in a small arena. I can recommend this product.
