Make sure you use the right charger
This works fine. Tried different chargers. It looks like you are using a lower wattage, I used one that is 1 amp, it takes forever to charge and heat up, it also says "use original charger". If you use a more powerful one I think the other one I used was 1.6 amps, it keeps going through the charging screen and actually draining the battery instead. I am currently using an adaptive charger and it works great. I'm sure if you had the right charger it was originally intended to be used with it would work great too.
