Review on Carro Ceiling Compatible Schedule Required by Holly Walker

This is not a dimmer for your lights! After watching the video and seeing the slider in the controls, I was convinced, or at least I thought so. Every few months I've been looking for something capable of remote on/off/dimming lights and fan speed control, as well as working with Alexa in a single group switch format. That's not this switch. Cons: Getting down to business, the lights are either 100% on or off and nothing in between. The fan has 3 speeds as usual. As you use the app, you can hear the mechanical relay click in the switch. The keys feel cheap and thin. There are also indicators that are constantly lit. The derailleur is large and grips tightly into a catchy metal mud ring. You also need to check if you have a 4th neutral before ordering one. I didn't and had to run a new neutral wire to get the switch to work. Pros: The app was pretty easy to set up and works well. The instructions were really unnecessary and quite intuitive. The back of the switch is clearly labeled if you know which wire is which. All in all, I don't know if I'll keep it or send it back. At the time of writing this review, it is priced at $39.99, which is about twice the price of a manual switch that dims the lights and controls the fan speed. I'm also not sure the build quality will hold up as kids push the buttons over time. I'll update the rating later if anything changes, but for now it's 2-1/2 stars.
