These bowls are NOT SAFE for critters! They are WAY too small to be human for actual live fish. You would have to clean it and renew the water daily to avoid dead fish if it was to be used as a real fish tank. I am giving this product 4 stars because I use these resin aquarium bowls instead and they work great with resin. projects! I have tiny artificial fish and some rocks on the bottom with an artificial aquarium plant. I just fill it with clear resin and it looks like a real fish tank! They also get 4 stars for the plant vases! They would make great wall mounted vases for water based plants!
