Review on πŸ”’ Contigo Stainless Spill Proof Insulated Food Service Equipment & Supplies: Ensuring No Spills and Enhanced Efficiency by Adam Tidd

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Excellent insulating properties; may be a bit tricky to disassemble/assemble

This is my second purchase of Contigo drink containers in the exact same style. I dig them up. Now we have three. I am happy with everyone. I fill it with an ice cube or two and the rest to the fill line with cold water for my high schooler and the cool temperature stays all day. They are quite durable and have survived several falls my child has had. One of the lids was dented a bit from the fall, but it still works and is tight. Gaskets work great when fully screwed in, making them difficult to open and close, and a two-piece straw can be difficult to separate and reattach. So this is probably not for people with hand arthritis and will be difficult for people with only one hand. Circumference is best for a life-size adult hand - small children's hands may be too small to handle easily. I like to hand wash and air dry all the pieces, and then I separate and clean the two straws with chlorinated water. I've put the glass in the dishwasher twice [all pieces in the washing machine with straws in the cutlery basket] on the bottom shelf and it doesn't seem to hurt.

Pros
  • Peace of Mind: All parts are BPA-free; Limited Lifetime
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
