Review on WixGear Universal Magnetic Car Mount Holder: Convenient Windshield and Dashboard Phone Holder with Swift-snap Technology (New Version Dashboard Mount) by Joseph Marshall

Purchased to replace the stand for my Garmin GPS. I had previously replaced the Garmin stand with a second stand and both lost suction after about a year of regular placement and removal from the dashboard. I reused the smooth plate that came with the Garmin stand as it fits nicely on the dash. The WizGear suction cup with adhesive sticks surprisingly well to the record. I think it will last much longer than others as I never have to take it off. I usually leave my Garmin on a stand, but when I want to use my Galaxy phone or other device, I just turn off the GPS and pop another in. My devices hold securely and are easy to remove. I am very happy with this stand so I bought another one for the truck. Since a suction cup won't fit on a truck dash, I got an AC vent mount that works just as well, although it does partially block airflow at the center passenger-side vent. On the other hand, your device will never overheat in summer!
