Perfect fit for my 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara

After a recent battery change on my 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7L engine (123,000 miles) the ECM did not remember idling when the A/C was on . The car will idle too low and stumble/stall at every stop sign. Since this is caused by a dirty electronic throttle body, I had to remove it and clean it thoroughly. The rubber air intake hose that connects the throttle body to the plastic air intake tube appeared to be in good condition, but when I removed it it was very hard and damaged on the underside. This replacement hose fits perfectly. After cleaning the throttle body, the car runs great. To replace just the air intake hose, remove the two 8mm bolts that attach the plastic intake tube to the intake manifold pipe (referred to as the surge tank in Suzuki's manual). This allows the plastic tube to move back a little. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the plastic intake pipe. Loosen the two clamps around the air intake hose. You should have enough room to pull the old air intake hose away from the throttle body and then the plastic tube. This is a problem as the hose is stiff and difficult to compress, but it will come loose.
