It's definitely lightweight, so much so that without a good dispenser you'll probably be disappointed that it sticks together quickly. I wouldn't recommend it for hauling something essential (>1lb) but for locking boxes around the house for storage I'm sure it's fine for the price. The description doesn't mention the color: brown-brown *unclear* if that's important to you. (Unfortunately it was made for us, so we decided to return it.)
