Easy to install phone I used an iPhone 12 SE, 2020 or II for this test. This is a smaller 5.5 inch diagonal phone. I ordered a larger holder which was wrong but still works fine. I keep my cell phone in my briefcase. Using the phone in this mount while in the case was hopeless. I suspect a regular silicone phone case will work with it without removing the phone, but I can't verify that. Plugging and unplugging the phone from the bike mount was a matter of seconds. The smart holder design ensures a secure fit while the home button stays open. Please see photo. Note: The lines on the phone and bike are refractions from the garage windows. Installing the phone in the bracket on the handlebars of a motorcycle proved difficult. The sharp end of the strap was barely long enough to hold me. It took 20 times longer to attach the mount to the bike than to attach the phone to the mount. At least. Maybe more. When on the phone on the bike, everything went quickly and smoothly. Safety Both on a motorcycle and a bicycle, the phone is often twirled around in the holder, but much more often on the motorcycle. I have never worried about the phone coming out of the holder. The silicone straps hold up well. Using the phone on a motorcycle proved nearly impossible even with bare hands, allowing the screen to be responsive. The phone is too loose. Silicone also yields too much. That means when you press the home button, the phone moves away from you as the silicone stretches. Conclusion. This holder is positioned as a bicycle and motorcycle holder. I've never figured out how it makes sense on any of our bikes. The phone moves too much for me to understand the screens when trying to use Siri navigation. On a much quieter bike, the holder excels in both ease of installation and utility.
