Review on PGN 6303 2RS Sealed Ball Bearing Power Transmission Products by Marc Stewart

With 4 bearings. While the quality varies from terrible to fair. I bought a Honda Helix for my scooter as a temporary replacement until I got the 6303 metal shield bearings. The first 2 melted the plastic shield within 2 miles of town driving under 45 mph. I'm on the third one and have a Metal 6303 ready to install, but I'm curious to see how long the third one lasts. It's December 1st and I've got about 300 miles and over 100 of them at 70 mph. I've seen them used in vehicle transmissions. I hope there is another in these applications like the 3rd camp and not as badly made as the first 2 I came across. Transfer work is time consuming and/or expensive. It is unacceptable to return and replace a defective part at the expense of the consumer and not the manufacturer. Will I buy this product again? Unfortunately, if the 3rd bearing lasts a year, I don't want to bother installing a bearing of questionable quality. I will definitely not buy this product again. That concludes my review.
