I have four of these stools in my kitchen, and they look and feel great. They swivel, are solid wood, and have plastic pads on the bottom of the feet to prevent scratching the floors. They're very sturdy, but I would recommend tightening all the hardware after the first couple hours of use, because after they settle they can wobble a bit.The only downside is that they're fairly difficult to find. When I first purchased these I only ordered two, and when I went back to buy two more they were backordered everywhere for a couple months.
