Review on NOW® Sports Protein Isolate Chocolate by Charles Stennis

NOW Food offers excellent natural products with minimal processing. I have used several other products with good results. I think the prices there are very fair and all the products are of high quality. I have used many different proteins with AST VP2 being my top choice along with NOW Food Whey. AST is significantly more expensive, making NOW Serum a steal. I may seem to have noticed a very small change in the results, but I was able to achieve a lean and muscular 5.0% body fat using NOW Whey Isolate with the same procedures. So in terms of efficiency, this stuff works just as hard as AST. When it comes to chocolate, NOW Foods has it covered. The chocolate flavor is rich and creamy and even contains only water as liquid. I believe this is partly due to the use of stevia as a sweetener instead of the sucralose that many other low-sugar protein pods use. Stevia is a natural, zero-calorie sweetener, so don't worry about brain tumors (asartame = phenylalanine = phenylketonuria) or stomach rumbling (Splenda = sucralose). Chocolate can get boring after a while, so I prefer using vanilla or unflavored in this brand for more juice flavor options and the like. Of course, chocolate doesn't offer as much variety as other flavors. Don't underestimate the chocolate - it's great! If you want chocolate for your cocktail, this is the best choice.
