As others have said this works very well but the mini XLR mic itself isn't very good. I spent another $30 and got a different mic and WOW what a difference. I recommend: JK MIC-J 044 lavalier microphone Lavalier microphone compatible with AKG Samson radio transmitter - Mini XLR TA3F connector Can I still recommend this device? Yes, because it's the best wireless USB microphone I've tested. BUT the mic is not loud enough even at maximum gain. I'm testing microphones for streaming audio to speakers in the classroom and also for use in Zoom to support remote students. Attach the microphone to the outside of the mask (remove the foam protection) and you're done.
