This oven lock does the job. It's a bit fiddly to twist it into a locked and unlocked position, but it doesn't affect functionality in any way. It sticks to your oven with 3M tape. I wonder how easy this will be to remove, especially after it's been reheated from the oven so many times. But for now, it's doing the job of protecting my kids. We have a black and stainless steel stove and the black color looks great on the stove. Overall it serves the purpose, but I'm concerned about the distance.
