Looks cool but isn't functional. In my 2014 Subaru, not only does it not throw out, it doesn't even get hot. I've tried two different 12v sockets in my Subaru and none get hot (even after holding them down for 20 seconds). However, it looks great and that was my main reason for getting it as I am a non-smoker, but it would be nice if it were heated in case I needed to light a candle in an emergency.
