We live in North NB. I wouldn't say they are suitable for most of our winter days. They can work on milder winter days but won't last long when played in the snow. They keep you warm on cold autumn days. My child likes her very much. They fit my 5 year old well! My kids don't need touchscreen fingertips, but I press one of my fingers and my phone responds to touch. The inside of the gloves is made of a short, fur-like material that provides a little warmth.
