Percale leaves have special properties that these leaves do not have. Percale leaves should be crisp and cool. These sheets will stick to your pajamas and be quite warm and not crunchy at all. I'm guessing the weave isn't percale, otherwise I would have expected these sheets to have different properties. There are also problems with size and quality. The top sheet is huge — that might make sense for people who put multiple mattresses on a box spring, but for me with a tall mattress, full spring box, and frame, the top sheet touches the floor at the bottom corners. In addition, the stitching is of poor quality (crumpled) and the pillowcases are improperly trimmed at the bias line, resulting in jagged and unwieldy edges. This is not what I wanted and I will not buy them again.
