TL;DR Works well with my Switch/GC adapter. Better design than most. I had to buy a new portable switch adapter after the last one broke after only 6 months of relatively little use. This one was more like a wide box and a short C-type cable (the more common design) and I think the cable lost its connection to HDMI because it doesn't bend. After seeing this design I thought I'd give it a try as it seemed like the more logical arrangement. Also, it had 2 USB ports instead of just one (if you're using a Gamecube adapter and really want rumble, that's a big plus). Out of the box, this worked great with my Switch setup, which includes a Gamecube adapter for Smash. . This case is made of aluminum and looks solid enough. The USB-C cable seems a little unreliable like my last one, but I'll update my review if it becomes an issue or breaks. I definitely like the longer cable as it allows for better positioning of the adapter without straining the connection. So far I like this adapter much better and I think it costs 5-10$ more compared to other brands.
