Review on 🧭 Unlock Your Orientation with the Brunton TruArc10 Baseplate Compass by Stephen Thomas

This compass is not a very good product. Bubbles in 8 months? Garbage! Nothing is earth shattering or worthy of mounting a soapbox and preaching navigational truth. Clean and simple, this is an easy-to-use straight-line compass that works well in cases where accuracy isn't critical but quickly gets a reasonably accurate course. In short, if you're determined to use a compass instead of GPS (nothing wrong with that) and need to quickly get the navigation information you need, this is a fair choice. If I could suggest how this compass could be improved it would be to do something about the air bubbles, making it easier (physically) to set the deflection by setting the moving parts to tight tolerances. Otherwise, this is a below average product in this price range. By the way, yes, I have this compass. Would I buy it again? no Even if the price was right. Will I recommend it to friends and family? no And if the compasses I owned turned out to be either Sir Bubble or her support? I do not know. I was never able to contact her. Look for Silva or Suunto as a replacement.
