Confused with Instruction

I bought this for my daughter's birthday I love the little kittens on the belt as my daughter loves cats. I'm confused by the time setting instructions. I've tried setting the hours and minutes but failed after a few tries. I'm also confused about the change" of the light". He didn't tell us how to change the color of the light. Overall I'm not happy with this watch. It's just an expensive useless toy.

Pros

Waterproof: Still worried about kids watch getting wet when kid wash hands or play with water? Our children's watches are water resistant to 30 m (99 ft) and suitable for everyday use. water resistant but not suitable for swimming. Generally withstands splashes or brief immersion in water. (NOTE: Please DO NOT press any buttons in the water or wear this watch during long underwater activities such as diving, etc. Excessive contact with water or use in extremely high or low temperatures will shorten the watch.
