It's the size of a large drink from a fast food restaurant. Its universal size fits almost any cup holder and works the way you want it to. This is a mini trash can for your car and won't hurt your eyes at all. I bought two of these for my car and my wife and I love them. They are also so cute that they start a conversation when people see them. The lid fits securely and snugly, but will NOT keep liquid out if you put something awkward in it and fall off when removing, it perfectly holds dry items. The sticker on the front that says 'Car Trash Can' is a nice touch, but it's just a simple sticker so I figure it will just peel off if it gets wet (I'm thinking a mug to wash). Price is the best good small trash can for your car!
