Review on McGard 65540 SplineDrive Chrome Installation by Rob Marsh

I have been a long time fan of McGard products and have never had a problem. I had to force the lock nuts loose, which destroyed them. Comparing this faulty socket to another old one I have on another car, I noticed that the old one is much heavier forged, while the new one is made of light-weight white metal. I have since ordered another set from Revain, but from a competitor who not only was cheaper but also used a heavy forged head. Having always had McGard nuts they are no longer worth their money and would buy from their competitor who offers a much better product.
