I bought it to replace a broken cable with one.
I bought it to replace a broken cord on a salt lamp basket. The lamp socket is too long and sticks out from under the basket legs. There was no way of knowing this prior to purchase and installation. Doesn't work with my lamp. There must have been measurements.
