This is a relatively "cheap" Nikon model, but both the camera and the 18-400mm lens exceeded my expectations. Colors are deep and rich, and images are crisp. Some of my amateur photographer friends thought I had bought a Leica. It's relatively light and the battery life is very decent. Now for the cons: noticeable vignetting when zooming in at large apertures and the LCD doesn't accurately reproduce colors when using it as a viewfinder or reviewing captured images. For a wireless connection to a smartphone, it is practically useless! Connections keep breaking off. Snapbridge is very bad software. Instead, I use a third-party iPhone to SD adapter that does an excellent job of transferring photos from the camera to the iPhone. So the wireless part of the camera is almost useless. But if you focus on the photo quality, then it's more than satisfactory.
