Review on πŸͺ’ Shark Double Edge Safety Razor Blades: Super Chrome | 100 Count Packs by Robin Detwiler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

smooth smooth smooth

I received these blades in a 35 FEATHER 7 O'clock SHARK ASTRA BLUEBIRD DERBY blade sampler and had the opportunity to try them all at least twice. My favorite 3 that claim to buy in bulk (50-100) are Feathers, Gillette Silver Blue and this one. Shark Super Chromes are the smoothest of the three and don't sting or irritate at all. They are just as comfortable as not-so-sharp or razor-sharp derbies. No, actually that's not entirely true, they are more comfortable and do not cause irritation than Derby. To be fair, the other two are next to the Sharks, but the Sharks edge them out by a noticeable and significant margin. The biggest surprise, though, is that while they're not as sharp (albeit very close) as the Feathers, they offer the most precise shave possible. I'll be using the rest of my feathers and gillettes in order along with the sharks before making my final decision, but for now it looks like the sharks will be the winners. The most comfortable and close shave of the top 3 blades I've tried and the cheapest shave, yes I think I've found my blade. Did I mention how smooth and comfortable they are? UPDATE After checking out the rest of the Feathers, Silver Blues and Sharks the Sharks won and I ordered 100 pieces. To be fair, the contest ended almost right away, but Feathers was $32 for $100 and gave me 2 good shaves (head and face), Silver Blue was $23 for $100 with 2 good shaves, and Sharks were $12 each. . 100 with 4 good shaves was a breeze. At 3 cents a shave these things are amazing.
