I bought these to reroute cables to amplifiers in my truck. You look great. At first everything seemed fine. About a month later I started hearing an imbalance in the sound on the rear channel. I thought it was a problem with the amp. I made sure everything was fully pressed. After playing around with the RCA, I heard the tone change. I removed them and connected the cables directly to the amp. All questions are gone. I went and removed them from the front channel and subwoofer amp. The overall sound of my system has improved. I've measured all the connection points with vernier calipers and they're all the same to within 0.001", although some feel like they're loose. Try them if you dare, they might suit you. Just be prepared to remove them. If there are problems before you start thinking there are other problems, at least they weren't expensive
