They are very bright. I have used large photographic lamps which are around $20 each. One of them broke (accidentally hit with a broom) and decided to try these instead of those. They are a little less bright but still very bright and give a very clean light, much better than traditional incandescent bulbs. Above all, better than the compact fluorescent lamps that are so widespread today. This provides enough light for my money tree to thrive. I don't have any natural light in my room so these bulbs are the only light he gets and he's growing very well. This is the best light quality for the money I've seen.
