this is the best bag at this price i have found i have been looking for sherpa bags and similar bags for this price range/style just got a similar bag for this at petsmart this weekend for 40 $ seen it's stolen It has a front flap that slides open for easy on and off, the back flap has a half zip closure and there is a zip top closure so you can reach out with your hand to secure your to comfort or pet your cat/dog I love that there are extra clips on the zippers for storage When closed my kitty can crawl out of everything but this bag. The inside of the bag is soft and fluffy and an added bonus, it's washable. The bottom of the bag slides out and there is a plastic lined board inside. Everything is great but in case of an accident you can pull out the case and it was h then the bottom will not be damaged because it is tight. You can wash it and put it back. There are several pockets for groceries, toys or papers. I haven't used the seat belt clips but you can loosen the clips and then press them down to fit over the lap belt of your seat belt. It has an extra adjustable shoulder strap for carrying and is padded. My kitty is small enough so now I just use the carry handles on top. The whole bag is sewn very well. I always check for poor construction first, but the corners and seams are sewn up. I'm sure this carrier will last a long time. The only thing that didn't really impress me was the lack of color choices, but I'm willing to ignore that given the quality of this bag. My kitty loves this carrier so much that I have to leave and open it and he uses it as an extra bed. The only thing I worried about was the size as my kitten grows. For the record, my 8 pound Mini Pin fits in the rack and it has plenty of room, and my sister's 13 pound Chihuahuas also fit in here comfortably. I would be wary of packing a dog or cat over 20lbs for a long trip or flight but if it were just for transport to the vet or short trips a larger animal would be a bit tight but would fit.
