I have an old Android phone and the sound quality is poor. I don't listen to music on my cell phone. However, I watch a lot of YouTube videos and the sound quality of some random videos is either too low or bad. As with many phones in the past, the speaker is on the back (you always have to put your hand around it to bring the sound forward). In any case, this portable speaker with amplifier fixed everything. The sound is amazing! I was capturing aerial footage in the bombardier seat of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress (FIFI) and the sound from the speaker made my hair stand on end! The sounds in the cabin and the engines coming out of the speaker were amazing! Features and Information: The speaker is very light. Comes with a 5" or 6" white USB charging cable. My speaker came pre-charged when I received it. The speaker is all plastic and there is a recessed rubber pad on the back with an on/off switch. A small blue light will illuminate when the button is pressed. It glows red while charging and turns off when fully charged. Tip: Hold the outer round case when charging. Not on the back, you might accidentally turn it on when plugged in. Do the same if you hold it in your hands (e.g. in a bag or coat pocket). Loading times were fast and it lasted about an hour in my phone with no issues.
