They are suitable for shoes from other manufacturers. But the velcro sucks and spoils so quickly. It also has a very long elastic band between the ends of the velcro (look where my thumb is) and my kid has to stretch it to get the shoe tight enough (see photo) and there are a lot of protrusions. Velcro is also starting to unravel on its own! This has happened to other couples before. This is at least the third pair we've bought for each of our kids, but this issue keeps popping up and we probably won't be buying them again. They're very good for the price, but the problems aren't worth it. The tissue over the toes also deteriorates and becomes quite ugly (tears) within a few months. I kept buying them thinking I'd have to buy the kids a new pair if they got in trouble, but it's not worth it to me anymore. It may not be so bad for others, but I'm trying to find better shoes. I feel like I have to choose a famous brand.
