Review on Hafny Mirror Blast Resistant Automotive Anit Glare by Brandon Plowden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best mirror!

I am 70 years old and have been cycling all my life. Safety has always been a big concern so I have used a mirror on my bike for many years. Mirror designs have changed and I've tried them all. I finally found the best and now I will only use it. The Hafny bar end bike mirror is perfect for use on the mountain and on the handlebars. The fold-down bars allow you to tilt it so you never bang your knee on it while standing. Adjustments are easy to make with a 5mm Allen key and once the perfect rear view is achieved you can tighten it to keep it from moving even on fast and bumpy descents. The most impressive feature is the superb optical quality, by far the best of any bike mirror I've seen. It's perfectly contoured, allowing you to see approaching vehicles from a far greater distance than anyone else. Because of this superior image quality, you can spot those large trailer mirrors in time to keep moving to the right when the vehicle hasn't moved far enough to the left to let you through. It has saved me many times over the past two seasons. I believe that a good mirror is the most important thing to avoid getting hit from behind and the Hafni mirror is by far the best. I recently bought a Garmin Varia RTL. This radar warns you when vehicles are approaching from behind but doesn't tell you how close they are getting, which is the important information you really need. You can't turn your head fast enough or often enough to get this information, but by taking turns shifting your gaze to the road ahead, you can do this indefinitely without even moving your head. Bark Equipment, makers of the Hafny Bar End Bike Mirror, was a great company. Not only is their mirror the best mirror out there, they will solve any problem you have very quickly. You go beyond what is supposed to make you happy.
