I don't know why those of us with sock sizes 10-12 have such a hard time finding solid color socks to wear with flat shoes. This size is rarer than hen's teeth, and sock makers can't resist the temptation to make all socks multicolored or stamp logos in some places to show if you're wearing flats. Before I found them, only one pair would fit in Dresden of all places. I just wish there were more than one pair in the store. These socks are perfect. Only solid black is visible and the thickness is perfect for wearing with flat shoes in cold weather. They're a bit scratchy and tough at first, but washing with vinegar in dishwater takes care of that.
