I've always bought an Otter Box Defender for all my phones and this is the thinnest of them all. Thinner than the Iphone 11 and extremely thinner than the Samsung S7 in their Defender. I've had a lot of falls over the years and haven't had any issues so far. All my phones go to the boy who broke his phone (I don't pay for phones anymore). It's amazing that after years of use, if the phone is in perfect condition, my kids will take the phone out of the defender and use whatever case they use and poof. Phone broke after 6 months. It's not sexy, but it's cheap $1,000 phone insurance.
