Review on ๐ก BTF-LIGHTING SK9822: Individually Addressable 16.5ft 5m 60 Pixel/m LED Strip - 300LEDs DC5V Non-Waterproof by Miriam Mendez
Not SK9822, but APA102!
They are packaged as SK9822 but do not work with that protocol. After lots of testing I've come to the conclusion that they are buggy, but I've tried them with the APA102 code and they work. So they are actually APA102, but for some reason they are labeled and sold as SK9822. This is very strange as 102 is usually a bit more expensive. Inconvenient because they don't work with an existing installation, but work independently.
