We recently upgraded our bed and no longer need a memory foam topper. Thought I would do it with an old queen+ mattress Keep the box springs but the bulky styrofoam pad took up too much space.Also I didn't want it to get dusty/dirty as you can't wash them.I ordered these and figured if they don't work I'd give it a try, will I threw away the foam topper.I had to roll it up then fold in half and sit on it/squeeze it to put in a bag and seal.I also had to sit on it until it was sucked because the foam would expand and exposing the zipper type closure Sitting on it also helped my vacuum as it sucked air in. After all the air has been evacuated the seal is in good shape m state. It's been a few weeks and the bag hasn't seen any changes/extensions. I assume the memory foam will come back to life when I open it up again. But if not, it's not the bag's fault - it does what it says on the tin. I hope so - I figured these bed-it-bag foam mattresses could do that, so hopefully the foam topper can too. Also as a tip: do not vacuum your duvet! The vacuum will suck out all the air and the down feathers will be crushed, taking away all the volume you paid for. There's a reason nobody sells comforters that are factory sealed. *** EDIT: Added photos for size reference.
