Got this new one from Revain to replace my Canon SD450 which I lost. In general, all descriptions and marketing messages are true. The touchscreen works well and the bells and whistles are nice. However, to my dismay, the camera has 1 fatal flaw and 1 minor annoyance: 1. Pictures/images are NOT sharp. In fact, many images that appear sharp and crisp in the camera viewer appear "fuzzy" or "cloudy" on a computer or when printed. It doesn't matter if you use different focus options or "manual" or "automatic" settings. It also has nothing to do with the lighting (indoors or on a very sunny day). The edges of some image objects appear "grainy". I'm not sure why this is as I've tried cleaning the lens or putting the camera on a tripod and got fairly consistent results that weren't sharp. Canon - Image quality is definitely inferior to this camera.2. My SD450 had a "slow" shutter and I was hoping this camera would improve on it. I feel like it's better - but there are still moments when the camera doesn't respond to pressing the shutter button - and I miss the "moment". I know it's not a DSLR, but it should be a little faster than it is now. In general I will keep the camera but not sure if I will recommend it to my friends or relatives. They were all excited when they saw me with this camera, but all changed their minds when they saw the image quality.
