Review on Powerful Logitech Z623: 400W Home Speaker System - Black - Get Immersed! by Haraki Itsuki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

Bought this computer speaker 2 years ago. For all the time of use, she did not disappoint me in terms of sound. But the build quality is not even once. As I wrote above, the sub case cracks at high volume, so I don’t twist the bass control further than the middle level, by the way, at the middle bass level, the sub doesn’t crack and works fine. There are not enough high frequencies, the tweeters on the satellites would not interfere, however, with an average bass level, the high ones sound more or less normal. About the variable resistor and crackling when changing the volume, I wrote in the shortcomings. In general, the speakers are good as a budget option. I took them for 7000. They are not worth the money, believe me. The price for them is 5000 maximum, moreover, the model is already quite old (2022 if I'm not mistaken). About 200 watts of total power, this is of course nonsense. If they give out even 100 in practice (pah pah pah) and that's good. These are computer acoustics and not a HI-FI system or a music center, so there can be no talk of any super high-quality sound. But if you buy these speakers for 5000, believe me, the speakers will play them 100%.

Pros
  • Good sound, ease of use, compactness, control of the entire system is placed on the right satellite, which is always at hand, it also has a line input and a headphone output. The subwoofer case is made of wood, the bass is very powerful.
Cons
  • Price. Build quality is top notch for the price. The electronics inside are so cheap that I almost cried when I saw it. A variable resistor (volume control) is generally terrible, when I turn up the volume from zero, I hear a very loud crack from the speakers and the subwoofer. From the subwoofer at high power / volume, a crackling can be heard (the build quality makes itself felt, most likely the case is cracking). There are not enough high frequencies, moreover, there is no treble regulator in principle. The amplifier is built into the body of the subwoofer, in a word - it's active acoustics.
