I have two dogs, one of which is a master escape. Somehow she figured out how to unbuckle a dog's seat belt. Then I bought a heavy duty seat belt and she figured that out too. As a last try, I decided to develop my own. I bought a three foot chain from Lowe's, attached one end to a car tie with one of these carabiners and connected the other end to a carabiner which I attached to the back clip of her vest. Success! Now she stays in her place in the car. She's safer, I'm safer, and the whole road is safer because she can't do any antics that would distract me while driving.
