Lots of designs to choose from

All in all these are decent stencils. On the more difficult ones, you'll need to make sure you keep all the little feathers and whorls to ensure you get clean lines. A good way to do this is to use masking tape, which can be easily removed without tearing or damaging the paper underneath. Wide washi tape is another option. The plastic these stencils are made of is thicker than many other plastic stencils I've used. I like the variety this pack offers, although it can use a few stencil sheets for basic shapes like squares and circles to use when customizing bullet magazine pages. I don't use my stencils for painting, so I can't comment on how well they work for this medium. I suspect if you are careful and use the shading technique to apply the base outline to the canvas (or other surface) and then go over and fill in the design with a fine detailing brush, you should be fine. The storage bag is a regular zippered bag that does not provide adequate protection against accidentally bending or tearing the stencils. I keep my pencils in a more durable pencil case with a piece of cardboard to keep them from bending. Overall, this is a pretty good set for the price.
