Review on Stylish Ash Grey Mid Mod Oval Decorative Ottoman with Wood Legs for Your Home by Fisseha Rodgers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A nice looking mid-century modern ottoman tends to be cooler than warm in colour.

It was very easy to put together and I did it in about 10 minutes including unpacking. Don't worry if you see that the red ribbon in the box has no clasp as it is inside the ottoman along with the legs. It comes with an Allen key, nuts and washers so you don't need to assemble anything other than what comes in the kit. I know it's grey, but honestly it looks almost black and white to me. I thought it would pair well with warm gray tones and it's definitely cooler. I really like it so I'll get it working but be aware it doesn't lend itself to the palette if you try to customize it but it will fit. I have a mid-century house so this works really well and the legs are a nice medium hazel color. They are sleek and pointed, as befits mid-century or contemporary furniture. The instructions say you can align the legs but I don't see where to do that. I've tried unscrewing the plastic dots on the bottom of the stool but they seem to be nailed down rather than screwed on. It's definitely a start and very supportive as I sat on it and didn't sink in at all. It looks like it has about two or two and a half inches of foam at the top, possibly a molded base. I like the fact that there is a slit around the top as it adds to the look. You can hardly tell where the fabric was sewn. I am sitting cross-legged while writing this review and it is much softer and more comfortable than my hard coffee table. It's the perfect width for smaller mid-century furniture and goes really well with the leather chair I paired with it. Apart from my own problem with incorrect color detection, I have nothing to complain about. Pretty solid ottoman.
