Despite good reviews I was honestly skeptical that this would work as advertised but it works! My 4 year old loves jigsaw puzzles and was ready for the larger 500 piece puzzles but we really didn't have space to leave them all the time so we bought this one to save our progress and clean up between sessions too be able. The felt mat works great and keeps the parts in place while you work on them. When unrolling an inflatable tube mat, it helps to roll and unfold it slowly, but it keeps everything in place - both pieces of the puzzle you're putting together and individual pieces that might be lying on the side. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this actually works! Piece trays are good because you can sort different pieces and stack them well.
