Perfect LED Lights - Easy to install, adjust and work well

*Please note this is a review of a 4 light set which appears to have been replaced with a 12 light set. However, the same lamps, only now there are more of them * I used these LEDs in my home office in the basement that I just finished. You only need 4 because it's a 10x8 room and there's more than enough to light it up perfectly. Brightness is much higher than 50%. It's not that they get too bright, but it's definitely more than I need. Also the color in the room is quite light gray which helps. The fact that you can easily switch them between 3k/4k/5k is a really big plus in my opinion. Depending on the other lighting in the room you want to match (or contrast) and where you're using it (e.g. 5k in the kitchen/bathroom vs. 4k in the living room) you may be able to make the right choice. They're quiet - don't hum or anything like that - and don't overheat. I'm not worried that they will pose a problem on the ceiling. In terms of installation, they have very simple clips that just pop off the drywall and voila, done. Keeps them perfectly flush with the ceiling - provided you cut the hole to size. This, if I remember correctly, is a 4" hole, meaning the top of the fixture only needs 4" to rise to the ceiling and you have 6" flush with the bottom (that actual light you see). I cut out 4" round holes and they are right there. Electrical boxes are very compact with enough room to store your wiring in. Nothing fancy about the wiring; simple 3 wire connection. Overall I am very impressed and satisfied with these lights. I wish they were in every room of the house. When I start adding more I get these.
